# Migration Guide

> Move from another voice AI provider to Callaro with minimal disruption to scripts, data, and reporting.

# Migrate in controlled layers.

Most migrations succeed when you split the project into four workstreams: credentials, number inventory, audience data, and script validation.

1. Map current campaign and lead states.
2. Recreate agents and objection handling in Callaro.
3. Import contacts and suppression lists.
4. Validate number pools and webhook consumers in sandbox.
5. Run a controlled production pilot before full cutover.

## Recommended migration phases

<Steps>
  <Step title="Discovery and gap mapping">
    Inventory existing call flows, dispositions, compliance policy, and integrations.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Parallel sandbox validation">
    Recreate key journeys in Callaro and compare outcomes against your incumbent platform.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Pilot cutover">
    Route a constrained campaign segment and monitor call quality, conversion, and failure rates.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Full rollout with rollback guardrails">
    Scale traffic gradually with clear rollback criteria and owner coverage.
  </Step>
</Steps>

## Exit criteria before full cutover

* Auth, webhooks, and export jobs all pass integration tests.
* Suppression and DNC controls are validated.
* Reporting parity is accepted by business stakeholders.
* Support and incident runbooks are documented and tested.
